When we were in college, my husband and I would build Legos together. Not just any Lego. Star Wars legos! It was our dream to build an R2D2 robot. One that moves, sounds and even blinks like the one in the movie. So when we had sons, it was natural for us to spend hours building stuff. Wooden blocks, duplos, train tracks, marble runs, and the ever faithful cardboard boxes.
In fact, check out Construction Toys. It just send me chills seeing all the possibilities out there!
Just the other day, I stumbled upon Block Play. It is such an inspiring site! I've shown C some of the photos already and he's eager as I am to start on our next new project.
So what are you waiting for? Pull out the blocks and start building!
